P So Cal Choppers Notre Dame
Caitlyn has elevated her game in the circle and at the plate over the last year and coaches have noticed. She was a 1st Team NFCA All-West Region pick after going 21-4 with a 1.18 ERA and 258 strikeouts in 160 innings. At the plate she hit .513 with 42 RBI, six triples and five homers with a .623 on-base percentage. As a junior she was a 1st Team MaxPreps All-American, 2nd Team Full Count Softball All-American and 1st Team CalHiSports.com All-State pick after hitting 19 home runs, batting .563 with 60 RBI, 63 runs scored and a slugging percentage of 1.402. She is a triple threat leadoff hitter who can slap, drag or hit with home run power. Key ignites the offense and on defense steals hits from the other teams with an arm that can throw out runners trying to stretch a base. Cali has great base running instincts and last fall was 33-for-34 in steals while hitting .561 with nine homers. This fall she helped her team make it to the State Tournament and, well liked on and off the field, she was even named Homecoming Queen earlier in October.
