EM Baseball Academy Travel TeamsSeven Weekends, Seven Trophies

Coaches Charlie Briseno, Mark LeVier and Chris Prieto have had a busy two months entering the EM Baseball Academy Travel Teams into 7 consecutive weekend tournaments and came home with 7 trophies - 5 Championship trophies and two for second place. 'Although our emphasis has never been on winning, if you work hard on the basics, the winning takes care of itself. The purpose of our academy is to develop players to their athletic and sports specific potential.’ says Coach Charlie Briseno.

One of the components in developing successful athletic skills in any sport is “Balance”. This is extremely evident when it comes to our sport of baseball. At that particular moment when we need to make that crucial pitch, make that clutch play or get that key hit, “balance” is an important factor in giving you the best opportunity for success. If you can create the proper balance while pitching, fielding or hitting, your chances of success will increase. Maintaining the proper balance in your physical mechanics will allow your body to perform at its maximum power and accuracy levels. Come visit us at EM so we can assist you in developing your balance, while learning the proper techniques and fundamentals to become a better hitter, pitcher and fielder.

The funny thing about the morning fitness classes are that these ladies appreciate being pushed. What sometimes seems like punishment is fun!

Yes, the stars looked bright tonight .. At EM!  And these future stars were getting their work on  with the help of Coach John and Coach Scott at STC.  Represented regularly are some of the top position players in the nation, going to the top programs in the nation!  Maddison Shipman (Tennessee) of Yucaipa HS last year batted over .400 with 21 stolen bases, Nicole Sappingfield (Michigan) of Norco,  batted .442 with 2 homeruns, Talee Snow (UCLA), Cheyenne Coyle (Florida) and Jessica Hall (UCLA) had equally impressive stats.  These ladies are awesome, but the work has just begun, getting ready to impress their respective coaches at these ‘storied’ University programs.
