EM Athlete Brejae Washington Diamond Spikes Award Winner

Brejae Washington first trained at EM through her travel softball team Cal Lite owned and run by Pam Newton.  Known for her speed and one of the fastest players ever to wear a Longhorn uniform, Brejae holds All-Time Texas Longhorn Records in six offensive categories including stolen bases (130), hits (254), triples (20), sacrifice hits (32), sac flies (10) and second all-time in runs scored (185).  As an outfielder, Washington played in every game during her four years on the Forty Acres. Brejae now continues her softball career in the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) league as a member of the USSSA Florida Pride.
