EM Athlete Alexis ‘Chip’ Bennett Earns BACK 2 BACK Pac12 Batting Champ!

When you came to EM in Anaheim or Rancho Cucamonga, you were bound to see this high energy speedster zipping around the training floor, or hitting the weights .. Alexis ‘Chip’ Bennett is one of EM’s ‘wonder children’ always wanting to learn, always perfecting her craft … It’s not a surprise that Chip found a way to make her place in NCAA history by becoming Back To Back Pac12 batting champion in 2015 and 2016!  Chip’s leadership at UCLA was by example and by way of her voice – ‘she always has an opinion on everything anyway’ says her master trainer John ‘JD’ Daniels, ‘but her passion to learn is the difference maker.. she’s never satisfied.’bennett headshot

Bennett earns back-to-back Pac-12 Batting Champion honors after posting a .437 batting average through the regular season, which ranks 26th in the nation and first in the Pac-12. Bennett, a senior outfielder for the Bruins, has posted 69 hits, which ranks third in the Pac-12, on 158 at bats. She is also third in the league in on-base percentage with a .526 mark. The Corona, Calif., native earns her second-career first team all-Conference honor after being named honorable mention her first two seasons.

Here is an aside … ‘COMING SOON’ you will see Chip’s sister Stella at UCLA – She just committed to UCLA this off-season.
